The school district has recently adopted a new reading curriculum to the dismay of many teachers who were happy with the old curriculum. The rollout has been met with resistance, and now the parents in the school community want certain books banned from the school. In the middle of all of this is the school principal who is trying to navigate competing positions in the community.
